Most perl modules are platform independent.  You just have to install
them to the right location.  Some modules are partly written in C and
will need to be compiled.  You can set up your Perl enviroment so that
you can install any module on CPAN; even those that require C compilation.

You can substitute PostgreSQL with another DB, such as MS SQL-server
or whatever you have.  But you may have to adapt some SQL statements
embedded in the source.



I have thought about making v2 of Wraf partly in C in order to speed
things up.


You can install most modules by hind, but should find a 'make'
program.  I have no experience of this myself.  A little searching and
I found this page mostly english bu a little swedish.  You can
probably find better pages.=20=20

But in theory: You should be able to follow the instructions in the
README file that comes with the module, using your make program.  You
should be able to unpack the package using a recent version of winzip.
