Yeah yeah, that means never, right?

Sure implementations change, but what about where you are now?

Beware of catch-22; I had that same problem with describing the
parameters to the storage system for models.  I nearly described the
storage as a model, in which case you could never create one, since
then you would have had to store a model in order to use it and ha to
use a model in order to create a store.

That would be great.  How about your answers to these:

  A resource is ..

  A statement is ..

  A model is ...

  I use this terminology
    A: [B]-C->[D] (E) 
  to mean ... 
  where A, B, C, D, E are ...

Maybe you can then just cite such a document on your RDF-IG postings
via a URI and update it incrementally when you change your mind? :-)

It also would be more generally useful for the RDF community to see
what implementers were actually doing with the stuff the RDF model
provides and where they differ.
